1) What this policy covers
● Lessons, rentals, tours, events, gift cards, and packages
● Retail products purchased online or on site


2) Lessons, Rentals, Tours & Packages
Validity
● All lesson/rental credits and packages are valid for 1 year from
purchase date.
● Expired credits are not refundable. 


Rescheduling, Late & No-Show
Reschedule window: Please reschedule ≥24 hours before start time (48h for groups/events).
● Late arrivals: If you arrive late, time is deducted from your session to protect the next client’s time.
● No-show / <24h cancellations: Non-refundable and non-creditable.

Weather & Operations
● Watersports are weather-dependent. We may delay, modify, relocate, or cancel for wind/lightning/water quality/park closures or safety.
● If MKB cancels for weather/operations, we will reschedule  (No cash refunds.) 
● Packages are not shareable unless specified on the product page. 
● A card hold or deposit may be required for rentals/e-foil/gear. You’re responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear; repair or replacement costs may be charged to the card on file.


Safety & Eligibility
● Participants must meet minimum swimming ability and follow instructor
and park rules. We may refuse or stop service for safety, impairment, or
non-compliance; unused time becomes store credit only (no refund).

3) Retail Products (boards, kites, apparel, accessories)
Return window & method
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for store credit equal to the product price paid (excluding shipping/expedite/installation).
● Items must be new, unused, unwashed, in original packaging with tags
and all accessories.


Non-returnable items

● Final sale/clearance, gift cards, installed parts, custom-ordered items, used/consigned gear, and hygiene items (e.g., wetsuit under- layers) are final sale unless defective.

           Return Rules Summary

  • Returns accepted for 30 days
  • Customer provides return shipping
  • 10% restocking fee


How to return
1. Email info@miamikiteboarding.com with order # and items.
2. We’ll issue an RMA and return instructions.
3. Ship items back within 14 days of RMA. Customer pays return shipping
(except if we shipped the wrong/defective item).
4. After inspection (3–5 business days), we issue store credit to your MKB
account/email.


Exchanges
● To exchange sizes/models, return for store credit and place a new order.
Defects / wrong item
● Report within 7 days of delivery with photos; we’ll repair/replace or credit.

4) Payments, Credits & Chargebacks
● All approved returns/refunds for services and most products are issued as store credit.
● Store credit is digital, tied to your email, and valid 1 year from issuance.
● Initiating a chargeback while a credit/resolution is available may lead to
account suspension.


5) Booking Rules (Quick View)
● ≥24h reschedule: OK
● Late arrival: Time deducted
● No-show / <24h: No reimbursement
● MKB weather cancel: Reschedule or store credit
● Validity: 1 year from purchase (lessons/rentals/packages & store credit)


6) Gift Cards & Promotions
● Gift cards: Non-refundable; valid 1 year from purchase; redeemable for lessons, rentals, tours, and retail.
● Promotions/coupons: Expire as stated; may not combine; no cash value.

7) Administrative
● We may update this policy at any time by posting a new version with a
new Effective date.
● This policy is governed by our Terms of Service. Where law requires a different outcome, we comply with the maximum extent permitted.
