This is the best option for our students who completed their lessons and just need more practice on their own until they reach the IKO level 3 ( staying upwind) to ride in Crandon Park.

The best and only alternative when the winds are westerly (cause you need a boat) - Our sandbars are perfect in all wind directions.

uEvery Saturday & Sunday upon booking (Minimum 3 riders)unless no wind or bad weather

uMeeting 9.30 for the AM session and 2.30 for the PM session
uReservation required 2 days before the weekend (space limited to 6 max)
uCheck the forecast and Prepay online (specify the day you want to schedule)

SET UP
u If payment was not made online, make sure to take your credit card or Cash (see rates)
u Connect your lines than wind them up and secure them (bunjee)
uInflate the lateral struts only.
uRoll up your kite from tip to center and secure the bar in the middle.
uGet some water booties - Harness - wetsuit and leave your car keys at the MKB truck

CHRISTOPHE is in charge of the Downwinders, He is riding for 8 years, is an IKO Examiner and has extensive Experience in Kite trips as a Captain licensed .

RATES:
We offer 4 level of downwinders distances upon rider skills and practice:
uStittsville or Crandon (1 Mile): $100 for 3hrs (go downwind 1 mile sandbar)
Level 2 IKO (waterstart both side)

uCrandon to Stittsville (3 Miles): $120/rider -IKO Level 3k required
(Riding both side, tack confortably)

uCrandon to Soldiers key & Boca Chica (10 Miles): $150/rider -IKO Level 3N required
(Staying upwind & riding for extended time : 1 hour non-stop)

uCrandon to Key Largo (40 Miles) Experts only: full day and trip back by Van: $200/rider - 1 week reservation, group of 4 minimum up to 6 riders.
